A Sentence Which Inspired Me

A friend once told me the sentence which goes like this: "Everything you say should be the truth, but not everything which is true should be said". For me, especially the first part of the sentence is extremely important. If somebody asks me how I find something, I'll give an honest answer, since I also expect to hear the truth from other people. It's the way you say it that is important. However, depending on the situation, it is sometimes wise to keep your opinion to yourself because you probably just hurt the other person.

Rainy Saturday Afternoon

Good time to write a new post on my blog. What happened to my plans? I actually went to Seattle on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. But it was a bit disappointing, since it took such a long time to cross the border, where I felt like a criminal when I had to give my fingerprints and look into a camera. Our first stop was at a shopping mall, where we spent 90 minutes, which was too short for the huge number of shops. At that time we had already two hours of delay; therefore I had to decide between the Space Needle and Downtown. I chose the Downtown, but it was for just two hours. This was enough to see the Market Place, the first Starbucks and the Abercrombie & Fitch store, but unfortunately nothing more.
A week later, we went to Tofino on Vancouver Island. We arrived at Long Beach, a surfer paradise, just in time to see the sunset - wonderful colours and a nice atmosphere. In winter, it's possible to go Storm Watching there, which must be very impressive. On the next day, we decided to go Whale Watching combined with a visit to the Hot Springs which are located on the coast of Flores Island. Luckily, on the way to the island, we saw some grey whales, sea lions and an eagle with its nest. After a little walk through the ancient rain forest, we could relax in the hot water, while ice-cold waves were coming from the sea and providing comfortable cooling.
